Special Note:
On its Web site, the Czech Foreign Ministry
"Minimum coverage of the [health] insurance has to be at least $35,000. Make sure you will have a proof of your medical insurance with you when entering the Czech Republic."
European Union's Commission of Justice, Freedom and Security, said that a 2003 law requires proof of insurance only for non-EU visitors applying for a visa -- that is, for stays, longer than 90 days.
"Relevant European Commission legislation does not require [visitors] to get health insurance for entering the EU from those countries for which a visa is not required,"
