Located between Las Vegas and Lake Mead and Hoover Dam, Boulder City is a drive destination from Las Vegas Valley offering fine restaurants, gift and antique shops, art galleries, museums and numerous art shows.

For recreation two affordable golf courses, mountain bike trails, walking and hiking trails, skydiving facilities and endless options for camping, fishing, boating, mountain biking and water sport activities.

The town site was created as a temporary camp to house workers who were building the Hoover Dam (then Boulder Dam) and slated for demolition following completion. The city began to take shape and the rest is history.
